Call it a day is the idiom that means when you have done enough or you do not want to do what you have done any more, it is time to stop doing, to take a break. In Turkish, it is often used in daily life, paydos is the Turkish expression.

3-There is no point trying to get him to stop. He’s going to keep drinking no matter what. You can’t change a leopard’s spots.
